My name is Lotta Syvertsen and I live in a small community (Dala-Floda) in Dalarna (mid of Sweden), together with my dogs. Since 1994 I have a small hobby kennel with the prefix Kulla Gulla’s, breeding rottweilers.
Grown up with dogs, mostly hunting breeds as Norwegian Elkhound, I wanted a working dog for dog sports when I was about to buy the first dog of my own. I fell in love with rottweiler, and it all started 1990 with KORAD Jelkgården’s Fait. With him I competed in obedience and tracking (Swedish working-program) and I also showed him some. Fait ("Passon") became nearly 11 years before he passed away in September 2001. He was a very special dog to me...

The goal with my breeding is a working rottweiler, suitable for almost any dog-sport. We want to breed balanced dogs with a lot of drives and working ability.
He is supposed to be functional in today’s society as well as a wonderful companion to the family. Having in mind the horrific picture our breed has been given in the media it is ever so important to breed robust, positive dogs with strong nerves. We're striving to test every dog from the kennel in the Swedish youth-mentaltest and later on the Swedish Korung. That gives us a picture were we stand in the breeding-work. Unfortunately the breed also carries some diseases that we of course as long as it is possible strive to avoid.

I am very picky with to whom I sell my puppies. To be an active dog owner (in some form) is a must, then if it is the Swedish working-program, IPO, obedience or as a army patrol- /rescue-dog is of less importance. The important thing is that it is meaningful for the dog. That the rottweiler owner of today has an incredible heavy responsibility can not be pointed out to much, just one more bad incident and that might be the nail in the coffin for this wonderful breed! Of course we also want our pups to be natural members of their new families and we want to have a continued contact with them all. In return we hold a yearly camp for our puppy buyers where we meet, socialise, train and all have a good time together with our dogs.
